Animation is the illusion of movement. It doesn't matter how you pull it off just as long as you have a way of doing it in order to bring your characters to life.

Happy Halloween Newgrounders! Sorry I havent got anything decent to show for halloween aside from this review. Decided that I want to put in animation for this review this time round. will it be a continued gimmick for me? probably.

I also have a project in the works which is still in storyboards, sadly. But I'll be sure to give updates on the project.

Yeah yeah, the topic of this rant is old as hell and whatever I say now, wont make a difference. Thing is though, I'm not interested in talking about World of Warcraft and how it took the (social) lives of many people we knew. What I want to talk about is the RTS series that inspired the pit of all evil, Warcraft. Now recently, I've rediscovered Warcraft 3, a game I haven't touch since my early high school years. A game that back then would ass raped my old computer a new one and cost me a dozen upgrades in order to play the fucking thing but as it stands now, my shitty laptop laughs at the little requirements. Playing through this old classic really brought me back on why I enjoyed the franchise so much and how I would love the thought of a Warcraft 4. But Seeing as Blizzard has pretty much made a self producing goldmine of the franchise, my vision of a new fantasy RTS is pretty much fucked.

This really sucks because I fell in love with the world (of warcraft!) when it was a fun and addicting RTS game, not an MMORPG that would give me nothing more than social problems and minus £15-£20 (whatever it is now!) a month just so I can get the bet out of the game. Yeh, my other problem is that I cant stand online RPG's for the reason I'm fucking crap at them. I remember years ago when I tried playing an online RPG(I think it was Ultima Online or runespace, not too sure). 2 minutes of playing the damn thing, I got killed because I had the daft idea that my soldier character was strong enough to take on a skeleton soldier. For the next hour, I spent running around as a ghost, trying to get someone to pay for a resurrection or something. So being the young and impatient shit I was (yet, ironic because RTS games require patience), I gave up and with every second try I gave the damn game, the experience is always the same.

So how the fuck would I cope with an MMORPG that I would have to pay for each month, just for to get my ass raped everytime. I dunno about you guys but thats got to be one hell of a bad relationship where your paying for everything and get nothing out of it but misery and pain.

So yeah, I love Warcraft but not "World of" Warcraft. simple as that. Blizzard makes awesome gave and its nice to see that some of their older titles are getting attention once again like StarCraft and Diablo. But it just pains me to see what was once my favourite franchise, forgetting that it was once an awesome RTS back in the day and continuing to suck off nerds for 15 a month and seeing as Blizard is controlled by Activision, I doubt I'll ever see the end of it. :\

So recently, I've been a bit more dead than expected around here so I might as well give you the updates on what's going on with me. First off, I've been more occupied in looking for a job than animation right now (yeah, I'm scum, right?) but to keep myself occupied, I started on a Web-comic based on the megaman series called Out Of E-Tanks. its updated twice a week (or close to it anyways.) so feel free to check it out.

Flashwise, aside from having an early start on my Madness flash this year, not much but my Sonic Halloween Costume series was recently dubbed into spanish by a fine fellow known as Sonicblueknight so if your spanish or at least know the language, hopefully you'll get a kick out of this.

So yeah, hopefully nothing will happen this year to prevent me from getting my madness flash done this year and hopefully get back into flash and artwork fully.

College is also starting up again soon so hopefully, I'll be studying hard this year. lol

So yeah, heres the download of my life since my last post;

fixed the issues I had with my laptop a while ago and I also thought I might as upgrade my flash to Cs4. But then I realised Cs4 was just uncomfortable and confusing so I just installed my ol' Flash 8. Stick to what you know, kids. That may sound unprofessional but I'd rather know what I'm working with rather than scratching my head over new technology that does the exact same as my old program. Seriously, with all the new whistles and bells attached to the thing, all of it is just pointless. Who the hell need a fucking 3D turner thing and a bone attachment? No one because I've used flash long enough to know how everything works. And the whole new tweening bullshit was really the final straw. CLASSIC tween? WHY?!

all in all Cs4 was pretty fucking useless (get your shit together, Adobe! stick to photoshop!).

College is coming to an end and I REALLY need to get everything done, I mean EVERYTHING. I'm still far behind in what I need to do for most of it, its just stupid.

Finally, I was laid off from Amazon. Which means a golden opportunity to hunt for a new job or signing up to a new agency (because my last one was a complete joke!).

But on the plus side side of everything, at least I got my weekends back for now and hopefully I'll get back on track with projects and friends.

The reboot I sort of needed

To cut a long and depressing story short, everything in my hard drive was completely wiped after trying get my laptop to work. If that wasn't enough, when restarting back to the factory setting, things backfired as the recovery software was a 32 bit instead of the 64 bit like it was supposed to have. So not only have I lost all my projects and software, my laptop also severely downgraded . The only use this piece of shit's for is mainly the fucking internet so needless to say, I'm officially fucked the now and chances of getting shit back together will take a while.

The Irony of it all was that it all started when I was updating my Anti-Virus program. You know, to prevent shit from ever happening.

Just something I've wanted to work on for a long time. A Megaman Vs. Flash. encase your not familiar with the concept, it all started with this very flash movie by El-Cid, which then spawned these two flash movies by Keicho and finally Dan-Dark created thesetwo.

Since then, I've always wanted to make something like these but I never found the time and with my college studies and work, I thought I should at least work on something to keep my sanity intact. considering this will be my first attempt at full on frame by frame animation (at least this is what I'm aiming for.) this will take it's time and will be worked on when I have the free time to spare and if I feel like it (seriously, there is no sense on working on a movie if you cant be assed and have bugger all inspiration, otherwise you'll get something like .this!).

Other than dictating you guys to check out my new blogspot, there's really nothing else to add.

I guess in the meantime you can look at this reference picture below and give me some of that sweet criticism.

Working on a Megaman Flash MEGA MEGA

Happy new year Newgrounds and lets make the next decade the one to remember! I have to say that 2009 wasn't my year at all, too much financial and emotional bullshit that fell against me. Didn't help that most of the games were actually pretty damn disappointing that they made me question about the money I used for that money could have went towards something more rewarding like food and water, future and other important shit. Just made me realise that I should just have a select few games to play this year

The Top 10 Games Of 2009 which were awesome

1. Batman Arkham Asylum
2. Muramasa: The Demon Blade
3. Shadow Complex
4. Pokemon Platinum
5. Mario And Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story
6. Brutal Legends
7. Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
8. Prototype
9. Wolverine Origins
10. Street Fighter 4

Top 10 Disappointments of 2009 which sucked

Number One being the most disappointing and you should have expected better from.

1. Modern Warfare 2
2. Resident Evil 5
3. Turtles In Time: Re-Shelled
4. Halo3: ODST
5. Wolfenstein
6. Ultimate Alliance 2
7. Tekken 6
8. Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles
9. Kingdom Hearts: 358/ 2 Days
10. Transformers: Revenge Of the Fallen

ell anyway, lets hope this year will be more happiness than depression and lets see what the future brings.

Well isn't this a nice surprise! Megaman 10 will have you not only play as Megaman, but the choice to play Protoman and a secret character which isn't announced yet. Storywise, Megaman and his robot pals are facing a deadly robot virus called "Robotenza" and its up to the blue man to find a cure. Also one of the new robot masters is known as SheepMan. :3 I seriously cannot wait to hear more about this! If Megaman 9 was so good that it took over Megaman 2's title of best Megaman game of all time then this tenth instalment better have a lot of impressiveness to show with.

Mega Man 10 is confirmed!
